My 14 Stelvio makes a whining noise at highway speed, front wheel seems ok,possibly drive train problem?Bike feels normal ,has 68000 miles.Any ideas appreciated.

Most noises at highway speeds are usually wind or tire related from my experience.

You might want to slip off the CARC unit and look at the pinion nut, see if it's loose. It does happen.
That's if it sounds like it's coming from the back.

Any idea where it is from, front or back?
Alternator belt may be going bad.
Likely just the tire thread.

How many miles on the alternator belt?
A pebble trapped between the sump and skid plate can make quite a racket too.
