Just got back from another afternoon ride. 101 miles and a buddy on his Guzzi V85 Roamer joined me this time. Another loop out into the countryside winding up in Smithfield VA and a nice ride back with a detour thru Suffolk to enjoy some more scenery. The RE650 GT got over 60 mpg for the trip. Really loving this bike. Stopped for some good Mexican food on the way home. Then a semi tried to kill me 5 miles from home as they decided to take a right exit from the far left lane and smashing their brakes to pull it off. Let's just say it was an awkward situation with me getting a great view of the Mansfield Bar at the rear of their trailer. Thankfully the RE650 is a very nimble bike! Not enough HP to get you into trouble, but enough good braking power to get you out of trouble! Nice combination there.
That is two 100 miles rides in the past week for me. Forcing the new knee into being more comfortable crouched on the bike!
I can't believe this warm weather in December! Not storing the bike this year! LOL Hope y'all had a good one too.

Lucky you! I love the Royal Enfield 650. We got a couple of inches of snow today. It will be -10C (14F) tonight.
But we did get our Xmas tree today.
