No connection to Seller...

That Nevada is at Lifestyles Honda, in Mt. Vernon, Washington where my nephew works. My brother sent a photo of that bike to me when it first showed up. It’s been there a while.
-
It will sell when the price drops $625-1,200... and most likely all the farkles will go in the dump and it will become a cafe or scrambler project.
Nice little bike, but that is not a desirable model. Hopefully a devoted MG lover who is a california fan will buy it for a new rider family member or something.

Like you, I hope not! That bike has a lot going on.

We need to take up a WG collection, buy it, and ship all the farkles to Artic Fox! :bike-037: :bike-037:

I always thought the 750 Nevada was a good looking bike. If the pipes weren't so upswept those bags could be mounted a bit lower which would be nice. But sadly, I agree, I doubt the selling price would get anywhere near that asking price. At $1,995 I suspect it would move.

Modifications i have done to a Nevada rendering it suitable for exposure to the upper echelons of the Guzzi community, with agreeable results…
(Back off on the Nevada comments or I’ll start spitballing at your bike… :thewife:)
For reference, I’m 5’9”, 32 inseam, 190 lbs, 63 yrs old and creaky around the edges. Health challenges forced a downsizing. I’m definitely on the upper edge size wise to fit this bike.
It works really well when i think of Nevada’s as a 2/3 size EV. 1/3 less weight, 1/3 less power. 1/3 less size. The bags 40 liter i use less for long distances and more as crash/lower leg protection
Yes the rear wheel/front forks imitates a US chopperish attitude….BUT…Guzzi fools you. Yes the rear wheel is 16”, but the circumference of the tire puts it back into a proper size to match the 18” front. Handling is Guzzi proper with a lite delicate touch all that is needed to move to a decreasing or increasing radius turn…handling is rock solid.
Lower, narrower bars from stock had the most immediate impact, bringing my riding stance leaning forward instead of leaning back on my lower butt.
Visually i was horrified at all the plastic chrome. Stripped/sanded and painted to a satin white to counter point the black gloss i have. Any Nevada you could do that to roll your own color to match the tank and sidecovers. Tedious but pays big dividends towards a visually better looking bike.
Aftermarket rear shocks. Bar end mirrors to go with the bars. About the only real difference to comparable v7’s, is the frame modifications to create a lower seat height. LaFranconi noisemakers
If I could travel overnight long distances this would be a great tool for the me, as an older adult looking for less weight, lower seat, and a kick ass Guzzi ride and feel. No reason at all to think your giving something up by having a Nevada.
I’m at 18k miles, dual throttle bodies, 2007 model purchased used w 1k on the odometer, scratches from a low side. Hamlin Cycles maintenance
It fits the aerostitch model of 50 horsepower in a near 400 pound bike..

So Chuck, not shiftless any longer?
-
I always thought the Nevada 750 was one sweet little Guzzi...and you are right...they are under appreciated...
-
Consider the lineage..
Smallblocks as a separate branch began with
V50,V65, standards sit up right
V65c….buckhorn bars, cruiserish wheel combo, chopper imitation ish…
Which turned into the long running Nevada…
Meanwhile…..On the dual sport side follow this lineage…
V65TT…
Some Paris/Dakar experiments..
Old Quota..
New Quota
Stelvio
Along comes the smallblock resurrection with all the new V7’s…
Blend a Nevada with a Stelvio with a new small block motor and I believe you get..
A V85..
I’m going to look for fotos to show what I’m thinking…I’ll be back
-
What's your plan, Chuck?
DNA swab? 🤣
-
I’m digging how similar these all are, blending parts of each into a future generation. Current developments rarely pop up out of nowhere. Guzzi sure seems to have a secret formula of geometry that gets recognized in each new product. From a v65tt to a v85, it’s really similar

MARCUS DAIRY? Yikes! How old are we now? My kids grew up in Sandy Hook. They are 60 & 65 this year and no longer in CT. The tears cannot be avoided. R3~
