Title: 850 T drum brake rearsets

I'm looking to fit rearsets to a (I think) rear drum brake '74 850 T.  Tarozzis seem the likeliest option for the owner.  I saw a post from 2016 giving a good description, wondered who else had modified rearsets for this bike.  Also on the lookout for aluminum fenders for the same bike.

 I believe MG Cycles has some. Disc or drum brake be different..

I did a lot of research on this a number of years ago, and came away with the impression that Agostinis are the best rearsets for these bikes.  I have them installed on my project 850-T, but that is not yet complete, so I can't comment from personal experience.  Note that they are made for rear disk brake bikes, but you can used a spacer in place of the integrated brake pedal, and shorten the stock T brake pedal arm to work.  George Dockray did this with at least one project bike:

Cheapest and easiest way to go is to install the footpegs and shorten the stock foot controls.

Thanks for the feedback.  SMDL, good post on your mods.  Turin, that's an option.  I can fab what you have shown, simple too.  I know the Tarozzis are fragile.  He's not up for the cost of Ago's

Agostini for 850 LM. Brake side like below. Cut original lever & make a new foot 'stub'. Works fine even with reduced leverage.

I agree.  Should be able to make them for less than the Tarozzis, even with my time accounted for.

BTW,  to give credit where it's due, my 850T was inspired by a T Geodoc built.

Very please with the response to this thread.  Plenty of ideas.  I told the owner of the bike about Wild Goose, believe he will be showing up.  His 850 T3 is currently waiting for a new Dynatek ignition module.  Very good interactions with the company, pleased with their customer service.

I got Agostini rear sets and made a cable for the brake. Welded two small tabs on the frame.
I think the Agostini rear sets are much better looking than Tarozzi. And not too expensive if you don't need the exhaust hangers and passenger footrests.

Totally agree...they look period too whereas the tarozzi are too modern to my eyes.
