I bought this Lemans around 1990.. I remember paying 2200 bucks and the bike had been for sale in the local swap sheet for months
Yes, the bike is not stock, some badges missing, repaint, funky seat cover and tail light. I put on the chrome pipe with Contis. Sorry no other photos..The fairing was off for a repair
I believe is was a first year model ,1976? I sold it a few years later and it took a few months to sell it for what I paid for it...
It was lumpy at low speeds but once wound up it moved out nicely, yes the Conti mufflers were loud

Probably a 76 or 77 based on the rear taillight. No clip ons when you got the bike?
-
Looks like 76, What’s the VIN?

I have a Le Mans2 bought new ( in Canada ) and there is no date info on the steering neck.
It has 2 letters and 5 numbers , so unless the letters are date specific I'm not
to sure you'll find the date info you're looking for . Peter

No, just the bars, swan necks? in the photo.. The photo of the 78 in the BAT threat got me thinking when the rear tail light was changed...
Dusty actually reads the posts, lol..

Tony doesn't have the bike anymore .
Dusty
I bet he wishes he did still have it.

The rear fender is 1976. The tailight is not stock. The other identifying feature would be the seat but most all 1976 seats were dust by 1980 unless the original owner took it off when new and stored it in a nitrogen chamber.

No, not so much...and I don't miss the two 750 bevel drive Ducati's or the 73 Trident or the several Triumph twins or the 900 Monster or the 950 Moto Guzzi or any other bike...I always look ahead to the next bike...
