The subject bike is a 2007 California Vintage with 56K miles. I have owned for just under a year and have been addressing a number of minor issues. The leak was first observed yesterday and I do not believe there was any issue the last time I rode the bike (probably December). Leak is at the very top of the master, coming out from around the top of the brass nut that attaches the rear brake lamp switch (you might be able to see some fluid around the blue plastic on top of the brass nut). Anyone have a similar problem and know if the part is repairable or do I just need to hunt down a new switch?
Cheers,
Dave

It’s the switch, just replace it. There is not a repair other than replacing it.

John,
Thanks. Searching for a suitable replacement now. Guess I better make sure I have some tubing and buy some new brake fluid as well. Was actually thinking about replacing the brake fluid recently so now is the time...
Cheers,
Dave

Replace the 2 crush washers when you change the switch.

Will do. Was able to source a compatible switch online for $10 on Amazon. Seems to fit perfectly. Now just need to bleed the integrated brakes. Sounds like a good project for a cold Sunday afternoon :)
Thanks
Dave
