A lot of us eat them. I make them on occasion but easier to buy. Have a bag.

But skip that boring national brand, and reach instead for some tasty regional chips...or those made back home in south-central PA, like Utz (from Hanover, go for the traditionally lard-cooked Grandma Utz), Martin's (Thomasville), Herr's (Nottingham), or Gibbles (Chambersburg, super thin and tasty).

I love these stories of how we got here from there. Thy remind me of Paul Harvey's radio bits. "and now you know... the rest of the story"!

Agree, But The Best are Dieffenbachs from Womelsdorf.

We only ate them at cookouts.
Now they seem to be a staple in everyone's cupboard.
Increase your risk of adverse outcome from whatever ails you.
When we were kids it was "Granite State", and it was an obese uncle that brought them and pop.

Here Here! Utz and Herr's have it going on.......... Always buy over the big brands, though my favorite these days are found at Costco. Is a thick ripple cut chip with Himalayan salt. We only buy them when we have parties though, as we pig out on them..........
