Hi everyone;
the Lemans has the ( perfectly acceptable) 16" front wheel, so tyre choices are limited here - Pirelli Sports Demon ( current tyre), Bridgestone BT 45 (tried last time) or BT 46, Conti Classic TKV11 and Dunlop Streetsmart, plus Metzler Lasertec, Avon Roadrider AM26 if I can find them (in a 120/90 profile) .
Profile currently is 110/90 ( not 120/90 as per manual)
I've not heard good things about the Metzler, so I'm thinking of trying a Dunlop - anyone has experience with them, good or bad?
TIA

I used a set on the Mille GT when the Avon Venom was dropped. Not very confidence inspiring, especially on the rear. Went back to Avon. Michelin induced an almost crash worthy death wobble on the V11. Again, Avon cured the issue. The only Dunlops in use now are the K81s on the Norton. My 2c.

I put a set of Roadsmart III's on my Monster. Have 2K miles on them now. I like them.

Hi Baz,
I don't know about the Streetsmart. I'm running Dunlop GT501's on mine because the PO had them on the bike when I bought it so I replaced them with the same when the time came but they're toast now too. . I don't like the GT501's because I've had the backend break loose on me on more than one occasion while a "light" roll on the throttle into a right or left hand turn from a stop. So, I too, am looking for a suitable replacement tires for my 16" front LMIVSE.
