Join us as we take the long way to Prescott, AZ! On the way, experience some of Arizona's curves at their best as we go by Wickenburg, through Congress, and Yarnell. After lunch, we'll take a quick tour of Prescott's beautiful rock formations before taking the short way back to Phoenix.

Nice video. Quite and eclectic group of motorcycles on your ride. What did they think of your Annie?

We posted the ride for the scooter club members that have motorcycles and maxi scoots. Obviously, not everyone read the ride description fully but it wasn't an issue. :thumb:

Great video, brings back a lot of memories as we would do roughly the same route about once a month back in th 80's and 90's. Some times go up past Granite dells to Cottonwood and Jerome, over to 17 and blast home. Thanks for posting!

Nice video. Makes me miss Arizona. I used to live off Vulture Mine Road south of Wickenburg.

Great memories for me! my dad(retired) spent about 10 years living in Yarnell, was a volunteer dispatcer for the FD. would tell me many stories of (road kill) bikers on the yarnell grade! beautiful going through peeples valley and taking the detour through skull valley. bought a fixer-upper cb750 on a monthlong visit one time...would ride down to Wickenburg and back just for the KFC! another great trip around there is the road to Bagdad, kinda flat but lots of twisties...just to say you been thar!
dad eventually moved to Chino valley....more rides! (other side of Prescott) but he has since passed on.

Well done video. What setting were you using on the camera to speed up the action?

Ah yes, roadkill bikers are a thing on Yarnell Grade, and we stopped to help one on this ride. Broke several ribs, a wrist, arm, shoulder and needed an airlift down to Phoenix. It's the reason the pre-Prescott ride portion stops on the way up. The GoPro battery died while we were on the side of the road giving assistance, and we didn't think to put a new one in until after lunch.

Thanks! It's done in post-production with iMovie. I can adjust the speed, zoom in/out, reverse, or instant replay if needed. Setting the camera settings for higher quality capture and frame rate will give you more effect options.
Nicely done! :thumb:
Thank you so much!

Thanks for the video. I ride most of those same roads two or three times a week in good weather. +1 for the road from Kirkland to Bagdad. A stop at the Bagdad diner is one of my favorites.

That made me a bit homesick!!
Very nice video!👍👍👍🏜🏜🏜🌵🌵🌵

Nice work! Thanks for posting! I really need to explore more out west, seems like I always go to Colorado :thumb:

I'd like to make a huge loop starting with Vulture Mine Rd. into Wickenburg for breakfast, through Yarnell and Prescott, over Mingus Mountain, through Jerome, Cottonwood for lunch. Then Camp Verde, Strawberry, Pine, and Payson for dinner. I think that would be a good day's ride.

Those are some nice roads. The video of your ride on Vulture Mine Road brought back memories. Good stuff!
