Title: permission needed

I saved this from an online source, FB I think. There is no indication of a copyright. I'd like to use a paraphrase of the last portion  on my rally t-shirt design, but don't want any legal hassles. Anyone know the source/author?

It’s a little self serving, but I’d like to believe it’s at least superficially true.
I know some of it is.
