It could be a rough afternoon weather wise in east Texas. Large hail potential, tornadoes etc so put the dogs inside, mainly from three to nine. https://youtu.be/qAeDinwjfuQ
All the ingredients are there so be prepared.

Thanks looks it’s gonna be rough. Not looking forward to work. Just signed a tier 1 memo this year as my fire dept is updating the terms. I suspect they expect a lot of call offs tomorrow.

Just a few showers and some mild winds. For years I've been saying that if I watched the weather channel I'd still have the first tank of gas in my "71 Ambo. Time and time again I'd get back from a motorcycle trip and some one would ask if I got wet because they were watching the weather channel. Now I ain't going to the coast if a hurricane is coming in but otherwise I'm gone.

It’s just rolled through Dallas. Hopefully it will fizzle

Hail usually stops me. I got wet once, I suffered terribly. It was a good thing Deb and I were having such a good time. Fourteen and a half inches, we put on rain gear at a town called Frogmore on the border of Mississippi and Louisiana. Ran another forty miles, heading for Shreveport, we got a motel room and we went home the next day. it never did stop raining. It was warm and we stuck to backroads which were deserted. One of the best times in my life, riding in a rain forest in the blowoff from one of those Gulf hurricanes.
We can watch it on tv now . https://youtu.be/C7DWQ8Veag0

The first time I crossed the Mississippi I was on a motorcycle near Lafayette LA. It was raining so hard I didn’t know I had crossed until I stopped at a Holiday Inn for the night and looked at a map.

We got lucky and didn't suffer much damage here in the piney woods of East Texas. Got 4" of much needed rain. One of the tars bload off the roof of the trailer. The cement blocks I had supporting the trailer off the ground did their job so I'm mighty thankful for that.

You “ain’t right” Ken. LOL. Severe weather predicted for northeast Louisiana didn’t materialize thank goodness. I didn’t loose any tars.

One truck driver was extremely lucky today.

John and Jack,
Thanks for your concerns. Slicer, he is the shark that floated me the loan on the trailer called and wanted to know how the hounds were and did he ask about me? NO! Just wanted to know if I would still make the payment on time.
Two hounds, Groucho and Grumpy, (they ain't been right since I had their jewels cut off) stayed in the trailer with me during the storm. Ole Snag, stayed outside under the trailer, he got that name after he lost a few front teeth from biting tars. Idiot, cured him of chasing pick up trucks when the wheel studs got him.
Today the chainsaw and I have a date to cut some branches for a young gal. At my age a chainsaw is the only thing that makes me attractive to women folk.
