Title: Convert parting interest...? Now in the Swap Meet

A received a call from a fellow not far from here telling me that he has a Convert that is probably only good or parts... it was rescued from the basement of a house slated or demolishing... Kid you not.

If anyone here has a need for it or said parts, let me know and I can go pick it up.   

Warning, not a pretty rig...!

I am in Maine.

Looks better than my T3 did when I acquired it 80K miles ago.

My T was much worse. When It showed up, I picked up the seat and the pan disintegrated. The exhaust was welded together by rust.

Dear God, why do people do that to bikes? The color? I wonder how many miles it accomplished before being "parked".
