Title: V85TT 6250 mile service
Post by: dave1068 on April 03, 2022, 08:21:49 PM
Hey all TT'ers

Had my 6250, actually 7100 mile service and it seems to smoothen the bike out.It could just be the bike being broken in even more. Valves were a bit out but not much to worry about, Oil change and stnd service done,

Anyone else have their 2nd service done and notice similar improvements?

You’d hope they did a TGPS reset and a check for codes.

I don't think I can link it to the service, but mine just improved for the first 10,000 miles of so.  FWIW, the improvement in my previous 1400 was much more noticeable.
I get about 50 mpg regularly on the TT.  I did do a Y-pipe which changed the character of the power delivery immediately upon installation, but it stinks now at traffic lights.  A decent trade-off in my opinion.
Just keep riding her.

Thats the last thing they did, they actually have a checklist showing everything they did and checking for codes is the final check off.

Mine was better after the first service, I put it down to an upgrade of the mapping from the first model.
