Some folks like tank bags, some folks don't. I like them a lot and find them useful. On my 2000 Jackal a few years ago I had an official Moto Guzzi tank bag which was just about perfect for that bike. Sadly, when I sold the bike I included the tank bag. I recently bought a 2002 Stone and I am wondering if anyone has one of those bags you would like to sell, or alternatively, does anyone have a recommendation for a tank bag which works well on this bike?

I'd measure the tank and order a magnetic tankbag.
I use a 20 year old Tourmaster on my EV that fits fine....so there are plenty out there.

Do you have a pic of the tankbag you're looking for?

I use the old Bagster setup of a tank cover and tank bag on my Cal Spec. Recently replaced the bag with a used one off of eBay. Easily available in Europe but takes some online sleuthing here in the US. I like the product so well worth it for me

+1 on the Bagster system. Alas, I don't think you can buy a new one for an old model bike. They keep up with moto production and make tank covers to fit the latest production of bikes. We have two on 98 EVs.

I've got a larger, expandable magnetic Givi w 2 mall water bottle size side pockets and a clear map pouch on top. I've used it on different bikes, including my CalVin,
I like it, I imagine it would fit on other California style tanks

I found a couple of pics of that bike but not with the tank bag on it. The tank bag was gray with "Moto Guzzi" stitched on it and was purchased from the dealer when the original owner bought the bike.

It's over20 yr old (I remember I took it to Sturgis in 2000!) and has some patina, but it's in good shape. I'd be glad to re-home it as I have another bag I use more often. You can have it for the cost of shipping, but please make a donation to a good cause.
