Hi all, 4-30-22
I got on my 2017 Cali 1400 last week for a ride and the front brake lever felt soft. I bled the brakes, but no air come out...only fluid. When I looked at it closer, I noticed that each time I squeezed the brake lever there was a "squishing" sound. I never noticed that before. I'm guessing that the front brake master cylinder is failing? Any thoughts? AND if it needs to be re-built, where can I get the part? I've looked on line and there are various sizes for the Brembo master cylinder. Which is mine?
Thanks, and be well,

I think there was a recall on them at one point.
I have a 2017 rig and mine was, I believe, replaced
under warranty before I owned it.

My 2017 MGX had a recall on the front Master Cylinder also.
Might be the same one, something that you might want to look into. 👍🏻

Thanks Stretch and Biker. 5-2-22
I remember the recall now. After looking at several possible solutions, I came across the fact that there was an upgrade front master brake cylinder available (P/N 2B006111). Rather than keep spinning in circles...rebuild kit for older model, nearest dealership almost three hours away, etc., I decided to buy the upgraded cylinder and replace it myself. It should be here in a few days. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again for your replies.
Be well, stay well,

I was gonna send you the part number, but you think I can lay hands on the receipt?!
Of course not........
Glad you found it - should be an easy fix.
