Hi,
I need a center stand bolt for my Cali 3.
It appears that when they build the sidecar rig over 30 years ago they took the center stand off and never replaced the bolt.
Let me know if you have one that you could sell me.
Thanks Steve

First, if you don't have a center stand why do you need the bolt? 2, is there something special about it or could you just get a bolt from the hardware store? Are the CS mount plates still there?

The centerstand bolt is just a common M10 x 45 hex head bolt, grade 8.8. #7 in this illustration.

The reason I need the bolt for the center stand is that there is nothing holding the transmission. I am assuming that a long bolt goes from one frame tube though one side of center stand than though the transmission mount though the other side of stand and into the other frame tube.
If I'm figuring correctly I only need #12 + 13 in Charlie's pic.
It's not that it's missing anything to do with the stand itself it's the fact that there isn't anything supporting the transmission.
I'm sorry for the poor communication.
Anyone have a # 12 bolt and # 13 nut? Thank you for the parts diagram Charlie.

I likely have that bolt w/nut and washers. Will check my stash later today.

Thanks Charlie,
I was all wound up when I was under there and saw that the transmission wasn't supported.
I guess it says alot that the engine mounts where able to take all the torque over the years.

I see now.. you do want that bolt. If Charlie doesn't have it I might but I'd need the length measurement since I have few mostly from Tonti frames.

fotoguzzi, I will let you know. It would be great if Charlie has it since he isn't that far from me.
Thanks Steve

If you have no centerstand or mounting parts installed, you'll likely need some spacers to make up the distance from missing #4, 5, 14 and 15.

I was thinking about that. The transmission would be putting more of a twisting motion and less of a side to side. To be safe I thought would use some tubing or pipe to take up the space of the stand.

If you have # 14 and 15 I would only need washers to replace # 4 and 5.

Every time I dig around in my stash it amazes me what I find. I found multiple bolts and spacers and this complete centerstand assembly.
