I have seen videos of laser cleaners, and looked at a few on-line, but I have no idea how many watts are enough to be truly useful. Anyone with personal experience using one? Good, bad? Can a unit a cheap-ass Guzzi dude afford really do the job?

You mean a sonic cleaner?
-
I don’t clean my lasers. I just buy new ones when they get dirty.

You mean ones like this (DIHORSE-Hand-Held-Cleaning-Machine-Rust-Removal)?
I do not have one but have been wondering about them also.

Nope, not ultra-sonic, the handheld laser ones. They seem to worm on rust, grease, paint... seems like a great way to prep body pannels for paint.

Seems like they are very expensive. Anywhere from $1,500 to $8,500 bucks.
