Nope.

Not at all

On overrun I could hear straight piped Le Mans at a club race day.
Mike Tiberio could add some context here.
BTW
Where are his videos, I loved them….

Maybe a V8 one...... DonG
-
Maybe four of them on one crank.

To my ear a 90 degree configuration makes a similar cadence even if it has different numbers of cylinders. Add an open intake and exhaust and easing along at around 5700 rpm I thought a tuned Guzzi sounds quite similar, at least mine does but it’s been tweaked. Of course I’m deaf in one ear and can’t hear out of the other and I nailed the tuneup on this one. Your results may be different.

Just a flat-plane V8 with common exhaust.
-
the exhaust note on overun maybe a bit. The rest... no.

It’s when riding , running the hills, mine sounds like a stock car. From the side of the road, no. Maybe it’s the intake being almost as loud as the exhaust and the throttle response. Mike Rich said he got flow numbers almost as good as their race bike when he ported the heads. It sounds good anyway but not like a muffled Roush engine. I stand corrected
