Took the opportunity to drive out to the Wheels Through Time Museum yesterday. If you haven't been, it's worth the trip. Of course the roads in that area are also worth the trip.
This is an American machine focused Museum, and full of interesting motorcycles and a few cars. Saw my first Henderson and 4cyl Indian as well as the Indian that inverted the exhaust and intake ports. Some REALY nice pieces, and interesting displays.

Took the Mustang to drive the Cherohala and Dragons Tail. First time doing it in a cage. Was fun, but I much prefer it on two wheels.

Great attraction and a great family running it. I have no particular interest in specifically American motorcycles, but enjoy it and learn something every time I get down there. A truly amazing place. I do so love that everything there will crank, run, and ride. Just about every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day, they will roll some bikes out and fire them up. Very Cool.

^^^^ yeah, what Chad said. The Kid and I were on a bike trip in that area a few years ago. Rainy day and not many people there. When they realized we were gear heads, we had a guided tour for hours. :smiley: Started several machines. It was glorious. :thumb:

Dorcia and I took the MINI there to a meet. Yes, much more fun on 2 wheels. The side loading Gs were weird, and we had to get some Dramamine. (!)

Those Buell's look decidedly out-of-place amongst all those old antiques!

Good place for the non-motorcyclist also. My wife loved it but was board to tears at Barber.

I don't recall seeing them in 2017. Much preferred seeing then running around Suches last weekend.

There are definitely plenty of old and antique bikes, but a wide variety into the 90's and early 2000's but those don't interest me. Very interesting collection including a large section of Harley 'farm' equipment. I only had an hour, will definitely go back. They do a great job, and made me think of what Bills Old Bike Barn could be (or perhaps once was).
