Wow.  Wow.  Wish there was a buy now button at the current $3700 price.  That is a great looking bike.

It’s interesting to see the plain jane v50 after tge stiletto Monza…

I’d grab the Monza for a 1 hour ride, and the 50 for an all day ride

I've sent two emails to the seller - no reply...

I did a lot of work on this one for the seller, he rode it home to NYC from Maryland. Really needs a pair of mufflers - the ones shown are "modified" originals and are quite loud.

The Monza is certainly one of my favorite Guzzis of all time. Arguably the best handling. The machine is better than the sum of it's parts for some reason..

++++^^^ the v50's in general will grow on you the more you ride one. They seem small at first but once you really get to know one they are amazing machines. They can cruise all day at 70 or 80 mph, and rip up the back roads like you wouldn't believe. I just put a pair of Staintune pipes I found on Ebay on my daughters v50II  and the sound that little bike makes is indescribable. I find myself continuously choosing it over a few much more robust machines and am starting to rethink what more i actually need in a solo bike. And they are not making any more of them.  If I was not so fortunate to already to have the v 50 II I would be all over that Monza .Especially when you consider that whatever it may need is still readily available. Hope it finds a good home and is appreciated for the rare beauty that it truly is.

I had an old Monza back in the late 90's. Very fun little bike. A baby Lemans for sure. My current 650 RE GT reminds me a lot of it.

My old v50ii with Bubs sounded so great.  I couldn’t ride it below 5k. It was pretty slow but a very good highway cruiser as well as a really nice mountain bike.  I think it’s one of the most underrated classics.

Not a Monza, but my '82 V50 III may be coming up for sale soon.

The starting price is pretty much top dollar for a non-running smallblock of any type, even if it needs little to get it back on the road

Won't be for a while - still working to straighten out a title issue it's had since it was sold new. Title only shows six digits when it should show all 17 that are on the VIN tag.

I won't argue with that.. but.. it *is* a Monza. They are as rare as Pete's RHS.  I looked for 10 years before I found mine..now The Kid's.
