We all have a termination date, ride on.

When I take my last ride, I hope that I don’t know that it is…
I wish the same for you.
You seem to have that John Wayne “spit in their eye” mentality judging by your uplifting turn of phrase… :thumb:

Beautiful bike and every day is a great day for a ride!

I'll bet you still go fast!! I got a sidecar rig for when I can't walk anymore.
Keep on keepin on.

I too am skinny, and at age 83 I intend to ride as long as I can swing a leg over. Short rides only, but it is a 24 mile ride for me just to get a loaf of bread. Plenty to enjoy within a short radius of home.

I ran into an old boss recently...who remembered that I rode motorcycles. He said to me with a straight face:
"Are you still riding those MURDER-CYCLES?!?"
I just smiled and said: "Harry, everyone dies....but not everyone lives....." (He passed away recently...)

Ruff, There's all sorts of special things being displayed in that photo

A10 Forever! I'm sorry to hear you're having health issues, but I really admire your attitude! I'm attaching a pic of the first bike I owned .... a 1963 650 Spitfire Scrambler purchased just slightly used in 1965. I was 22 years old, and the following year, decided to ride the bike from Charleston WV to Port Isabel TX and back. Wonderful memories, probably much like you have from owning one of these wonderful British machines.
Keep on keepin' on!

Every time I ride I think it may be my last, but I can’t not ride. I absolutely love the header on the BSA.
-
Good on ya, RideOn brother!

Rocket Man and I just did a 50 mile ride with our '61's. Oddly enough we have the same birthday separated by 11 years  He ain't ready to cash in yet! I'm impressed with his Beezer. Starts and runs well. Rides nice, not a lot of vibes. My Triumph is a bit worse-it's apart and waiting for a crank balance etc.

Pete has a 61 Velocett 500 single, and following him at 50 mph the sound from the fishtail muffler is like the drummer in a marching band.
It's a chore to kick start the A10 cold so I have a roller starter for that...Once the engine gets some heat into, I can start it on the first kick..Back from our ride ,checking over the bike, I noticed more play than necessary in the rear swing arm...My home made bushing job is a bit sloppy..He nagged me to fix it so that will be today's job..
-
GOD bless you sir.

Nag nag nag...the swingarm was a bit sloppy. " I only noticed it in a corner". His A10 is also oil tight- can't say that about my Velo.
