Hey guys. I'm installing a H&B center stand. I remove the bolt through the rear cross member and get a piece of wood and rubber mallet to start moving it out of the way and it's just not coming. Peek under and see there's something else holding it in place. I assume some pin on the frame that keeps this from rotating when the main bolt is in place. I can't find anything corresponding on the other side to get out and it's not really in the diagram in the service manual from what I've found so far.

Any ideas on getting this thing out? Maybe someone who's done it has pointers. I assume (/hope) I don't have to take parts of the frame off to get that thing free.

It helps to spread the frame a tad. Loosen the other frame bolts is a good idea to spread.

Don't know why it didn't occur to me that just loosening was an option... Will give it a whirl. Thanks Steve!
