Title: Any Audace owners here who reg ride Adv bikes?
Post by: dave1068 on June 11, 2022, 12:19:54 PM
Hey all,

Saw an Audace today for sale and its a beast but felt pretty and looked pretty good, Didnt take for a test ride though.

Ive always had Adv bikes as Im 6'2 with long legs. Looking for a possible 2nd bike totally different from the ADV ride.

Thanks-

The 1400 is a runner.  I think those big Guzzis handle better than most Harleys and other brand cruisers.   It also revs to about 7k whereas most of the others go to 5k.   But I haven't ridden the Audace model but it looks like the leanest of the 1400s.

I sold my Audace a few months ago. It got too heavy and awkward for me, I am 77. It not a good handling bike at walking speeds, raked out front end. But on the highway a wonderful bike to ride. It will leave Harleys for dead in both power and handling. I loved mine and hated to see it go. I replaced it with a new Bonneville and I also have a V7lll Special. It is a major decision to decide which one to ride on any given day. I will miss the Audace on long trips though.
