Title: mechanic
Post by: jimw7jrs on June 13, 2022, 06:39:32 AM
Any advice on good mechanic in Chicago area? Thanks for any replies.

Thanks for the replies but Rose Farm is not taking work anymore and Joe last year and just yesterday said he's not taking work in. The guy who said Chicago is a desert for Guzzi mechanics was sure right.

The Chicago area is something of a vast desert when it comes to Motoguzzi. There used to be 3 dealers with mechanics but they all dried up and blew away. You would think with all the younger people in and around the city riding Ducatis and Triumphs there would be a market. I’m ready for a new one and I think I have to go to Cleveland.Or get a Triumph.

It is a desert for mechanics in Chicagoland. I called top gear out of roselle, Illinois. I have a 96 Cali 1100i that I can’t figure out why only firing on one cylinder. They told me they won’t work on bikes over 10 years old.
