A number of dubious assertions in the article, including the idea that V7 stands for the 7th v-twin that Guzzi made, instead of the 700 cc's of the original V7. The V7 name was resurrected for the current series of small block motors and was never used to refer to the whole class of longitudinal v-twins.

Typical modern journalism. Fake it until you get called out, and then sensor the person calling you out.
