Hello,
Washing my 2007 Griso 1100 and noticed this hose is disconnected at one end and cannot figure out where it goes. Do you?
One end is connected to the black canister at the bottom of the right side engine. The disconnected end has some clamp marks in the hose end.
Thanks for your assistance!

Looks like the line that would vent the tank. The fitting is likely high in the center of the tank.

What Wayne said. More specifically, item 7 in plate number 61 from the Griso 1100 parts manual:

The parts book indicates #7 is "pressure valve"; is it a one-way valve?
-
Is that the tip over valve from the tank?
-
Gray early type tip over valve. Prone to failing closed and not allowing the tank to vent.
Common fix it to replace it with a barbed brass connection from the hardware store.
-
Pretty sure it is NOT a tip over valve.
That valve allows a bit of pressure to build up in the tank. If it gets excessive, it pops open and relieves the pressure. They are known to make odd noises when the bike is parked in the garage and release some pressure.

When I got my Audace, a brand new engine had been installed. The tank vent had just a hose going down towards the ground. The dealership mechanic removed the original venting parts. Did they know better or lost the parts? One of the transmission bolts was missing, so who knows.
