Title: What is It

My son in law sent me this picture, wanted to know what it is. I don't know, that's for sure as I am not well versed in Bikes like this. Unfortunately the picture isn't very good.

It is a CZ 125 single cyl. 2-stroke, late '70s model. These were made in the Czeck Republic, Checkoslovakia, back in the day.

I had a 1977, 175 cc model. Fit and finish was not the best, but the design and assembly was good.

It’s a CZ 125 with prettier (imho) round bodywork.   Others had bodywork that was more faceted. Kickstart lever & shifter  pedal are one & the same, which can be confusing to the uninitiated….   

As mentioned, they’re solid but not quite as industrial-heavy as the same period MZ bikes.
