Hey everyone, all turn signals and lights are working on my Cali Stone but when I turn it to the left the dash light does not flash. Again, the signals work fine but the dash light won’t flash except on right turns. I did have the fuse blow that controls the directional turn signals. I replaced the fuse and the signals are working fine now but this dash thing has started happening with right turns. Yesterday I removed the tank, disconnected all relays, checked all wires to relays and all wires from fuse box to relays and all wires from relays to turn signals and such. I also used contact cleaner and sprayed everything I just described. I also opened up the switchgear and sprayed and checked everything there as well. I could not find any loose wires and the cleaning didn’t seem to have any positive effect. From here where do I check next? It’s just a small thing and doesn’t affect the running of the bike (except maybe it’ll blow another fuse in the future), but it’s super annoying and it’s the kind of thing that really irks me. I assume it’s a ground maybe but all ground wires (and all other wires) seem fine too. The turn signals on the rear have LED bulbs, standard bulbs in the front but I dunno if that matters or not. Just sharing.

Did you at some point install an LED bulb in the dashboard?
That won't work (easily) if you did.

Hey Wayne, I did but the bulb seems to work fine for right turns. After you mentioned this, however, I did go on over to V11 forum and saw that, yes, the LED dash bulb can cause problems for one side like you mention. I’ll look for some standard bulbs tomorrow maybe at Batteries Plus or somewhere. Thanks for the word.

No one is asking but just figured I’d update this thread in case anyone else has the same issue. Yes, I had replaced my dash bulbs with LED units just as Wayne noted. And yes, this is/was the issue; replaced turn signal with standard bulb and everything all good. As per usual, this board is invaluable. :thumb: :grin: Thanks, Wayne.
