He found it lacking: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPGtbH8SGDM

If you tolerate any of his videos you will see that something is lacking and it is not the V85TT. He thinks himself a comedian, not a moto journalist.
Watch what MotoGeo does with a 2020 Travel.

MotoGeo dude can ride.
Shadetree has diarrhea of the mouth.

That dude is an example of a crappy YouTube channel. Some douche who loves to hear himself yak, exploiting what ever fits his niche of choice to come off like an authority, striving for influencer status. Lots of ego (not in a healthy sense). Sadly he has many followers. What the hell is going on!
Motogeo makes the V85 look fun and competent, and he would probably appreciate and ride the heck out of a lot of bikes because he can ride. He actually draws me away from my small block prejudisms.

Shadetree is a motormouth, and he admits that he talks a lot of BS. He likes to get old beaters and ride them across country. He does off the wall stuff like built a Sportster into a dirt bike, ride it a couple thousand miles to the MABDR thingie, ride an old hardtail chopper many miles to Barber. Best thing he does is buy cheap bikes and uses his platform to raffle them off to raise money for a charity in Tampa that helps young men who have aged out of foster care. The charity provides them a home, teaches them a trade, etc.. He owns crap Goldwings, Ducatis, Harleys, and the Tampa HD dealer trusts him with nice loaner bikes to show on his channel. So, yeah, he's kind of an ass. He drinks a lot. It's rare that I finish any of his episodes. I was amused that he said the Guzzi was an underpowered appliance. And to be fair, the one he was riding sounded like a 'Lord farting in a bathtub.'

Ok, that all sounds fine, good, and probably fun to watch (if I could sit through him talk about how much he likes to drink). I haven’t seen any off his vids before, but this one kind of turns me off. It’s not the first time I’ve seen someone talking dooky about Guzzis, “the Italian Harley”, yada yada, like they’re a waiter trying to sound familiar with a new item on a menu that they know nothing about. Glad that he has a heart and gives his money to charity, that’s a good thing.

He had some good points, but you really never get a true feel for what a guzzi offers by riding one a day or two... It's all in the subtle things they offer. They are their own thing, and nothing is like them.. The V-85 is just a great bike in that way.. I would love to have one as much as my 765 Moto 2 triple Triumph. .
