I'm always open for new products or at least new to me.

Using something is always good practice. I don't remember seeing any shop do it "dry". Soapy water probably do the same job to be honest. :thumb:

Yeah, I use diluted water/dish soap in a spray bottle. Works. :thumb:

I have used the Bead Don mentioned in the first post...It is way better than soapy water, Pam ow whatever...Try it....

That looks more expensive than Nomar stuff! I've been using ruglide for lubing. Between the ruglide, Mojolever & Nomar stand I have been successful in changing my own tires. Also, letting the tires warm up a bit in the sun turned out to be a big help too.

I use dish soap strait, when it dries it's powder. Then you wash up rim & tire when mounted. Then it's all clean for the balance weights to stick.

I always try to use something that prevents corrosion. Right now it's No-Mar tire paste.
According to the label.....
- Vegetable based and non-toxic
- Washes with water and inhibits rust

I use a mix of oil-soap and water in a spray bottle.

If you let the Murphy's oil soap dry out in your lube bucket it almost like No-mar paste. I also have some mixed in a bottle by my tire machine. It has the same smell as the No-mar too.. Works as well, and is much cheaper by the gallon..
