I've got a Seattle trip with some downtime. Things to do? Moto International is no more... Cool shops or Museums?

DO NOT MISS. The Experience Music Museum, now the museum of Pop Culture..It was probably 15 years ago when we went but wow! There was a 2 story sculpture of a tornado of musical instruments.. cool enough but then you can walk up to the headphones and realize it plays music, not just one song, anything programmed in. By far the coolest sculpture I’ve ever seen.
It also houses the Jimi Hendrix collection of clothing, guitars and etc..with lots of video interviews with people like Clapton and other video of JIMI.
there was a place you could program and play your own music video too.

Ride one of the ferries and come right back, to enjoy the view.
Go to the Pike Place fish market and eat something good, then walk around.
Go to the Ballard Locks Park and appreciate the locks.
Those are the things I remember from my year of living there.
There's always the Space Needle! The food at the restaurant used to be good, ca. 2002.

All depends on how much time you've got and what you're into.
Automotive - America's Car Museum in Tacoma
Planes - Museum of Flight
Moto themed places to hang out - Smarty Pants in Georgetown or Smarty Pants Garage in Burien, Wheelie Pop Brewing in Ballard, Backfire Moto Bar in Green Lake.
Moto coffee places - Two Kick Coffee, The Wick (I think they've re-opened)
If you want to check out a moto shop, Triumph of Seattle is pretty big and has a lot to see, and also has NW Moto next door, which has Royal Enfield and Vespa.

All good ideas so far. Depends on what you're into.... Go to the Fremont district: see the statue of the people waiting for the bus, the troll under the bridge, Lenin, and then have some great beer, and sushi. Carry on from there and go to Ballard (locks previously mentioned), more great beer, cross the Ballard Bridge to Fishermen's Terminal eat great seafood. If you're into boats, don't miss the Center for Wooden Boats at the bottom of Lake Union (edge of downtown Seattle). Seattle is full of great restaurants - an oddball suggestion would be Maneki (on the edge of Chinatown, downtown), which used to be blue-collar sushi (an oxymoron I know.,.. but great if it hasn't changed since I was last there). Enjoy!

If you are a fisherman, this is a good time to duck into the viewing area of the fish lader at the locks. Salmon will inspire or ire, depending on your recent catches. Quick lunch at the original Dick's drive in. Basic burgers, but good, reasonable, and with a late 60's vibe. Pacific Science Center is cool. Great view of the Seattle nightime skyline from Alkai.

Pikes market, spent 5+ hours schlepping around. Gorged myself on chowder and fish and chips. Walked up to it through Post Alley, where the brick walls are covered in chewing gum. Gross.
Seattle aquarium, Check. Otters are cool. Don't think the wife will let me have one.
Museum of Flight, definitely worth the visit. SR-71 blackbird, Concorde, and an amazing WW2 exhibit. For some reason the P-51 on display evoked an emotional response.
Thanks for the suggestions, and I'll be hitting more tomorrow.

For some offbeat urban jewels, explore the unique neighborhoods that make up greater Seattle. Some great pubs and eateries out there. Find the Troll Eating the Volkswagen and also Lenin's statue.

That's two "votes" for the troll and Lenin (see my post above). Great minds and all that....

Pike's Market and Ivar's clam chowder, Plank Salmon and Pacific Oysters.

Catch the bus in Sequim and ride it out and back to Forks. The bus is nearly always empty, it's fantastic scenery, and just an overall relaxing few hours.

Hit two Ivan's so far.
Drove up to Snoqualmie falls. I miss seeing real trees.
Auto museum tommorrow after my job.

Lots of good advice above.
Be sure to check out the Seattle underground tour.
Some great Guzzi guys over at grisoghetto potential link up with them would be a plus.
