........well class record in a class of ONE being my V9 Roamer ridden by me

Took me about 60 minutes longer than the current record, but in my defence I only had half the width of the road , traffic lights and roundabouts and there were cars coming the other way
I'm here on a mini break, but if it wasn't the TT Circuit, it would still be a group of roads I'd go and ride
-
Ha ,
So where is the : TT Circuit ?
I'm guessing its not "FLAT LAND" .
-
I should have said its the Isle of Man TT Mountain Circuit I conquered :thumb:

Nice!

I was just there a few weeks ago, and miss it already! What an incredible place, and I'm not just taking about the racing stuff. It's magical, and I need to go back soon!
Cheers,
Shaun

Awesome! If you had been on a Bobber you could have pushed through the corners a little harder and shaved off a few minutes on your time. :thumb:

Me too!
I hooked up with 2 local guys from the MGOCGB who took me on a lap of the whole island on roads on roads no tourist would travel on which was great.
Middle day was seriously rained off so I went on the Electric and Snaefell Railways to the top of Snaefell.
That's worth doing too, and there's still more to do and see
-
That's high on my bucket list- I was set to get to the TT and ride the Island when the coof hit and delayed everything.
-
Looks like fun : I believe I could keep-up with this feller ...

The thing that startled me most was the street furniture, painted mini roundabouts, 6" kerbs, zero runoff, iron railings and stone walls around the track, and once you're on Snaefell the VERY steep drop off the side of the track.
The lads that post quick laps must leave their brains in the paddock before they start

so... will the average speed camera fines be mailed, or do you have a direct withdraw setup ?
-
I didn't see a single speed camera on the IoM but out in the country (Ramsey to Douglas for example) there aren't any limits, but don't drive like a d%$k
Equally, in the parts where there were speed limits everyone bimbled along at the speed limit
Unlike when I landed in Liverpool, where within 2 miles of the port, I had a Jaguar trying to push me down the road
Go figure

I meant no dis-respect, I just know that average speed cameras are plentiful on the island, I have even heard that there was conversations about equipping "lolly-pop ladies" with speed cameras ! please tell me that never happened !
-
I never thought you did :thumb:
Still, I didn't see any lolly pop ladies, so maybe my speeding ticket is still to arrive

Planning a trip to the UK in early June with a stop at the Isle of Man. With family in tow, I am uncertain as to whether I will obtain a motorcycle while on the Isle, but I wanna!
-
You could always get a people carrier and rag that round the circuit Jim
