Hi guzzi people, who would have some pictures of what the internals of the flash/horn part of the switch look like, horn flash has some issues, want to find out about it before pull it apart. Any advice would be good thanks team 77 t3 850

Worst switches ever made IMHO!
If originality isn't a concern replace the lot with a one pieces universal unit like the type MG Cycle sells.

Similar to that, except that's the START - RUN switch from the RH Bar.
They are kinda crap but I've been running mine for 100,000 miles so far. I do shoot them full of ACF-50 a couple of times a year.

:thumb: Atsa best advice! Lucas may be the Prince of darkness, but these switches... let's just say that because of CEV electrics there is no longer a death penalty in Italy.

is the spring the same in the LM2 Lego type switch as in a 77 t3 horn switch??

Is that the problem you are having, bad spring? I believe the last time this subject came up, someone sourced a website that had the same springs but that is from memory. Try a search on WG.

Those switches are a nightmare! One of the first things I removed from my Convert, and replaced with the K&S unit from MG cycles. On top of the switches being crappola, the wires run inside the handlebars, to further complicate the experience.....AARR GGHHHH ! If originality is not paramount, change them out with something more reliable.
Rick.

Original switches are rebuildable.
I do like the wires hidden in the bars.
Makes for a cleaner looking bar assembly.

HD content on hiding in the bars. I've used aftermarket switches from Amazon. I also used from Honda. If the bike is common, I don't care if OEM. T3, Cal1100, Convert etc. The LeMans model stay oem.
