I miss analog gauges when you could see all the numbers start to roll over…like 9999 and 9/10ths…never gotten one bike to hit 99,999 and 9/10th.

I remember the day my Eldo rolled over to 100,000.

I planned the ride into the area, as fate would have it, where we now have our local NARs.

When the dial hit the spot, I pulled over and had a ceremonial smoke. The herb was not as potent back in those days, so it was more for ritual than effect.

I would like to have another Eldo some day - the muscle memory still makes me try to shut off my electronic petcocks by hand once in a while.
