Form follows function.  This photo could also be in the other thread.  :thumb:

That is also vintage Ann Margret in unrestored condition.

She was also a rider.  You must have missed this vid of her.   :thumb:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_jAb0kWJHxY  full version.  Enjoy!   :thumb:  I don't get the Jesus garb on the guy???

You'll enjoy it.  No stunt rider.  She rides the bike.   :thumb:

I think that that movie was an Italian version of "The Prophet", the Khalil Gibran book. It was a metaphor for Jesus, so I guess that is why the guy is wearing robes.

If you look carefully at the video (yes, I know, it's such an unreasonable request) when she parks at the photo booth she drops the clutch a bit too soon after shutting off the ignition and the bike almost jumps off the side stand.

Yep.  And, she retracts the K stand before she throws a leg over which I thought was different/interesting.  I've seen this clip on wgc before and haven't tired of it yet.

I've collected Guzzi pics for years on my desktop. Some would get me a nasty gram from NCDan  But there's only ONE Ann Margaret!

I like shaft drive bikes I thought I'd ask for any info as I fancy a change and not for my usual touring style getup. Would be trying to find one 2nd hand. So flaws to look out for and any other owners advice is welcome.

Yeah, she handles the bike smoothly for sure.
I liked the “countersteering”  demo as the Monty Python guy was walking beside her.
I know it puts a dent in the equality argument for our heroine to raise money the way she did, but it just wasn’t hidden as much back then.
I wonder if those photo’s were….Ummmm…..”Single use…” ?

Knowing she is a rider, Im wondering if being a smaller woman, maybe she got used to doing that on some bikes that she just couldn't reach the stand while siting on the bike.
