Hey all,
Picked up a 2020 leftover V85tt travel. Traded in the Indian FTR1200s to a PA MG dealer. The heated grips, aux lights and smooth ride are a welcome return.

Nice looking bike, of course it’s a Guzzi. I’d like to try one, but I couldn’t flat foot one I sat on. Interesting bags, you’ll have to let the group know how much stuff you can cram in there, and if they remain water proof.

he Xtravel C-Bow bags are the smaller side luggage option from Hepco & Becker. The Xtravel line can be described as soft yet durable luggage designed for everybody; from the everyday commuter to the end-of-the-world traveler!
These bags mount to any Hepco & Becker C-Bow carrier by slipping onto the C shaped mount and lock in place with a single key. The discrete mounts and small bag size make this combination the idea choice for those who want side luggage without all the bulk. I am sure we have all seen some bikes and immediately thought why not just buy a car? These bags are the opposite of those big, bulky, and even obnoxious luggage solutions we all detest. Instead, these bags have a slim yet practical design.
For the outside design there is a top grab handle for easy handling of the bag while on and off the bike. Each side has a MOLLE system as part of the structure which allows you to attach optional accessories. The front and back wall is made of abrasion-resistant tarpaulin that provides stability and facilitates cleaning. On top of this you have waterproof material for water beading to protect your belongings on the inside. This material is held tight thanks to an aluminum G clip that is pulled tight to keep the bag closed. This clip can be quickly undone to find a roll top closure for even more waterproof protection for your gear. You can see this bag was made with the best quality materials possible in order to last you a lifetime.
Verticle relocation brackets are available for when bags are too close to the exhaust on some models. It is available under part number 720.630 00 01.

I've come close to buying those bags for other bikes. Curious to hear how you like them?

No plans to decat, runs fine as is w/ no excessive heat
Bags look great on bike and plenty of room for my needs, well made, i usually keep bags off bikes but these will stay on.
theres also a water bottle holder on the right side which is nice once warm weather returns

Was the water bottle holder included with the bags? That’s something I would actually use all the time.

I agree, and I imagine a little more versatile than an FTR. What windshield deflector do you have on?

They've been slow to come down from "virus- pricing" so still have "new" 3 year old Guzzi's.

I'd like to have one of those discounted units but would prefer the newer model with tubeless tires. I imagine it would cost a over grand to replace the wheels & tires to tubeless.
I rode one but didn't like the seat maybe I didn't give it enough saddle tiime to get used to it. Does anyone know if the bike has enough cable & hose length to accomodate Hbar risers? I'm thinking if I had to replace the seat I might have to do something with the hbars (move them rearward).
Anyway, nice bike Dave1068 :thumb:.

How did you lower it? The seat height is the only thing that keeps me from seriously shopping for one. My searches havent found much
