This will hopefully be the first one I've made it to all year! Always something in the way, but (knock on wood!) not this weekend, finally, lol.

For the benefit of those who haven't been in awhile, please note that the time and location has changed from years past.
It's still the first Saturday of the month, unless that should happen to fall on a holiday weekend, at which point we've usually postponed it a week.
We meet at 10:00am on said Saturdays at the Village Family Restaurant in Waynesville OH.

Great turnout for the breakfast meet. Really enjoyed meeting with all the riders and kicking tires. Our ride back to KY. was uh interesting. Wind gusting to 60mph will definitely keep you on your toes :smiley:

Yes, Pancakes !!! I have "Triple Dog Dared" OldMojo to eat a triple stack of the Village Family Restaurants famous "HUGE" pancakes this Saturday mornings SW Ohio Moto Guzzi breakfast. He's allowed to use butter and syrup to help him put them down !!! I thought that was a nice token of my long standing friendship. Why, I even offered to pay for the pancakes "IF" he got them down....... :food: The Kid

Happy 2023 and all that! Hope everyone had a tolerable Christmas. The best news of all though is that we're past the solstice!
Fun facts:
We've gained 10 minutes of daylight since December 21st
The length of daylight will increase by an average of 2 minutes per day between now and the time change in March, by which time we will have gained a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Let us celebrate the return of the sun-god with a display of pagan gluttony this Saturday, 1/7/23 at 10 am at the Village Family Restaurant in Waynesville.

...And it's February. The year is no longer "new".
Perhaps I'm foolishly optimistic, but I think I can see the home stretch to spring on the horizon of expanding daylight.
I snagged the extra dining room again, so let's make sure we get some butts in those seats!

The detail oriented will notice the gap between this post and the prior one. I apparently had a senior moment that extended several days into early February and forgot to post.

January 2025 breakfast!
Partial C&P from the group email because I'm late again :rolleyes:
We've made it another year folks!
Out of curiosity, I did a search through old emails to see if I could find out how long this breakfast has been going on.
From the info I have, the monthly SW OH Guzzi and friends breakfast was placed on the MGNOC calendar in September of 2009, thanks to the efforts of Ron James (rjamesohio) and the late, great Terry Whitaker (twhitaker).
My recollection is that it evolved out of at least a couple years of impromptu breakfast meet-ups taking place here and there, finally landing on the old KJ's in Germantown.
There's been a lot of people come and go since then - some have been pretty regular, others only every so often, and yet others only once in a great while.
Good folks one and all - we enjoy seeing everyone regardless of frequency! So if it's been awhile since you've come down, consider poking your head in again in 2025.
Let's have a great new year everyone.

That day is the 1st Saturday of the month. In this instance it will be Saturday, August 2.
The time is 10:00 am. I have no excuse for the prior posting of 10:30 other than a typo. My heartfelt thanks to last month's attendees who pointed out this egregious mistake.
