looking to get pointed in the right direction.
I'd like to get my hands on a seat pan for a 1000S to have a custom built. I'm under the impression its a unique seat within the Guzzi Diaspora. The only model I think might use the same pan would be a Spada. Does anyone know?
The 1000S has a seat pan which slides forward from the tail to the tank upon install, slipping over four tabs, two on each frame rail, and then locks in place with a port side lock mechanism. See the photo for three of the four tabs pointed out. The seat I have is a Sargent and has a plastic pan.

Good luck with the hunt, I have no idea about the Spada seat but the pan on my bike is plastic. About 5 years ago I did buy a near new 1000S seat on eBay so you never know when one might show up.
