Man, I hope my garage doesn't end up looking like that someday.

The RE Fury is quite a special bike- limited model designed to compete against the typical big singles like Gold Star and Venom, alloy engine with steel sleeved cylinder, less than 200 made, reportedly 40hp vs typical Bullet engine producing 27 hp. that’s the coolest bike I spotted in the mix.
Still, those giant piles like that only seem to produce a limited percentage of worthwhile marketable pieces. Dozens and dozens of pedestrian frames, old imperfect wheels, etc. will take a long time and an open mind to move and ultimately offset lots of the easy money sales.
Alas- nothing Italian spotted, much less any old Guzzis…

This isn't from a collector, it is from a motorcycle wrecking yard. The owner was taking parts off these bikes for sale. If he was just a hoarder he wouldn't have been disassembling them.

You could not give me one of those old Brit bikes.
I would refuse.

Oh, I dunno - with a large infusion of time and money some of those can be made
into quite nice motorbikes these days.
Tridents, T140s, A10s and A65s, and Commandos can all be made MUCH better
than new these days. There are now REAL fixes for the T140's foibles, SRM have
an impressive catalog of improvements and mods for the A65 and A10 platforms,
one can build a Commando from scratch which is light years ahead of the originals,
and there are some impressive 900cc Tridents out there.
And I've ALWAYS wanted a big, torquey RE Interceptor.
If I could have a couple or three of 'em cheap enough, I might have some fun! :-)

I come down firmly on the side that it is more fun to ride 'em than to work on 'em. To each their own.

Fwiw- That’s ^^^^ the RE Fury I mentioned earlier (see below…) , which appears to have the majority of the special unobtanium original equipment in place and is worthy of actual restoration. If time and money are going to be invested, that one is a viable candidate.

Interest in the old Brit stuff is steadily waning. When I was running Brit bikes forty five years ago a lot of them were used as daily riders. Not any more. I got tired of the constant maintenance required to keep them on the roads. If you pushed them they broke/wore out/fell apart quickly. Got my first Guzzi in '82 and never looked back.

A nice thing about having several bikes is the old ones can be ridden a bit her, a bit there. They last a long time ridden that way. Personally a fan of old Brit stuff. I do the upgrades on ignitions, carbs, and suspension put them together carefully.

I would not own another Norton 850 tho.

I think that stuff will be sold readily in the UK market… which is why buyers buy it in the US and sell it there.
The back of Sonny Angel’s shop was much the same as shown in the video, with both British and continental bikes, all boarded up and hidden from customers. Nobody except he and his brother went back there for years. Much of the British stuff among it was sold in one batch, and I wonder if some of it is here.

There's a bloke here in our southwest who has over 400 bikes in his collection. You can read about him here https://bikeshedtimes.com/the-man-they-call-toad-and-his-lifetime-collection-of-bikes-that-no-one-wanted/
