Old news for some but: When a member our MA MGNOC heard about Melissa's book and read 'The perfect vehicle', we soon learned she was riding a  BMW K75. Something had to be done. Announcing same on our website caused the obvious. Internet traffic caused an immediate
positive reaction. Within 4-5 days we had enough cash to make it happen. Our MA MG group immediately put their support behind rehabbing an MG Lario for Melissa. One call from Canada: "I'm mostly a Honda guy but I really want to be a part of this".

Now we had to find one! It was Silver rather than yellow. Looked good. Low miles. No visible rust. We carefully kicked the engine through. Good to go? Seven of us together finished the rehab in ~9 months. The club member who let the cat out of the bag? A true hero, beginning 'til the end.

Melissa's first book 'The perfect vehicle', based on motorcycling, was published in the late 1990's. I was stunned first seeing the cover in 2020.
There was no doubt - I had to have that book. And where else will you find a nice picture of a Moto Guzzi V8? Brilliant! Plus 17 pages of B&W pictures.

        Good Fortune,   R3~
