I would have turned around. Risk vs reward way out of my range. Not even close to a fun challenge. My arse would have pulled the seat cover off.

Yes..
Beyond comprehension for me.
MAYBE..With a line around me secured to something solid, but I think not even then.

Wow. Might be of the same brain wavelength as those who do free climbing, ha. I’ve ridden a couple tough roads on cliffs in Turkey and Spain, but not that tight.
From a cursory search, it looks like this passage is part of the Transtoro in Turkey. I got this map from a cyclist website:
(https://i.ibb.co/CtSpP9Z/9-A05030-B-77-D0-442-B-B1-A6-4-EDE53-A932-F5.jpg) (https://ibb.co/CtSpP9Z)
I recall this area when I traveled there. My friend and I stayed mostly along the coast, but I remember seeing a few challenging roads that might’ve included some of this Transtoro that I was itching to explore. Can’t recall at the moment if I went up into the mountains around there or not, but we did get some really nice coastal cliff riding done. Those dudes have some guts.

The fisheye lens on the GoPro make it look worse than it actually is, but looking at the loose scree underfoot, no thankyou.
-
wow, that guy's a guzzi hero for sure
I'd be packing a lump hammer and a cold chisel if I was riding that road
-
"hold my beer, I'm going to try something!"
-
My fear of heights made this quite difficult for me to watch...I got to handed to them that took b*&$s to ride that road...
-
Next on my to do list. Right after that beer w/Vagrant. Maybe bring a pinch bar.
-
Even on my dirt bike that would make me pucker up tight. And I have ridden a lot of Idaho single track with that type of exposure. But on a big bike. No way. Just watching it gives me the heebee jeebees.

I am of an age that I weigh the downside of certain activities & choices more than I did as a younger man. (Pun intended)
-
Ummmmmm, NO!
-
No..... Just NO.......... Stuff like this makes me cringe and I will gladly stand in the 'street only' corner.
-
I had to quit watching. My stomach was in my throat.. did they make it?
-
NFW.
Call.me whatever insulting slur to my manhood you like. I would have been sweating bullets porting my bicycle through there. On a motorcycle? NFW.

I'm bring a hydraulic jack so those bolder can have the edge and I can have the space next to the wall !
Even a little 10 ton will scoot a really big bolder ! Lets see ... 3 jacks extend 1 foot each = 3 foot passage through 10 ton rock ... maybe 2 ton is big enough ? :thumb:
I couldn't stand to watch it either so I put it on fast play speed.
I think I need a dual sport ! DR200 , XT250 , China 250 Hawk ???
Wonder what I'll dream about tonight ... Oh Yea , Thanks for the "Night Mares"
-
That is so hard to watch!
-
Am I the only one here who watched that and thought that looks like a lot of fun
I've done some pretty crazy tracks in my old 1970s land rover, maybe I'm hardened!
-
You very well might be. State your age please.
-
that was awesome!
Paradoxically, the older the get, the more scared, cautious, and clinging to life we become (no matter how dull that life has become). This makes little sense because most of our lives are behind us.
Logically, we should be more cautious when we're young because statistically at least, we have far more of our lives to lose. As we age, we should go for it, not the opposite!
-
With stuff like that, apart from being too scared, I worry that part of the cliff will collapse.
Funny thing.
I saw Tom Cruise on TV talking about sitting on top of the Baj Kalifah thing in Dubai.
He was asked..
“Weren’t you scared…?”
His (sincere) reply was
“No, I had a safety line, I knew I couldn’t fall….
Why WOULD I be scared ?”
Seems that for some people, once the fear of dying is gone, the imagery in their brain doesn’t deter them.
But.
I still look out the side window at the wheel on the plane and think….”That’s a long way down…”
-
Yes, when I was younger. No, now. Looks like fun.
-
It seems that the Guzzi climbed better than the KTMs going up that loose scree. On another note, eons ago nature decided that 51 males to 49 females was the right ratio, knowing that the males would find a way to extinguish themselves.
-
As far as I could see, these men were on a tour of the upper Goat pasture, not on a tour to the local Krispty Kreem stand to stroke each other egos on the farkelization of their penile extensions...... DonG

Well yes..
But there is still a fair amount of pecking order sorting out being done. You can bet your last dollar, that the guy who did it first, made sure that it randomly surfaced in their next conversation.
If there were females around, it wouldn’t randomly come up..
It’d be on purpose…
-
You buncha wimps.. (snapping suspenders, tamping corncob pipe) back in the day, I'd have ridden my Bultaco over that freakin rock..
-
Nice trail/dirt road other than that boulder blockage. I think if I were riding in an area like that someone would surely have a 25' length of rope.......just in case.

My my...

Not for this kid....
