Title: How do you clean and protect alloy fuel tank?

What are some recommended products/methods for protecting an alloy tank ? Cheers

Outside the tank.  It is part raw, part polished aluminum.

Any automotive wax will do. Gloss wax for polished aluminium and matte for brushed.

Expensive and worth it for all metal. It’s like skin lotion for metals….it’s a one step cleaner and polish. Spray on, spread thinly, then polish w 2nd all cotton cloth (no nylon). I use it on black painted frames too…(for paint I use Zaino, everything else gets this stuff) Combine w 000 bronze wool (won’t scratch chrome) for tough spots. I’ve seen amazing results w this and a Chore Boy on rusty chrome from 70’s mopeds. Inspires you to reaching into the nooks and crannies and keeping me occupied during winter…huge visual returns that last and last, and is easily refreshed with a quick wipe
