I plan on fitting front mounted carb's to my next creation "The Minimalist Bike". I just got the frame back from nickle plating, so things are moving along.
Does anyone know of a way to do this other than having a cam welded up and reground?
I have seen this done on three bike in the past.

Why do you want to do that?
I thought the whole idea of the exhaust up there was for cooling, aren’t you worried about running too hot?

Do you wonder why it's not the norm? Where's Roper when you need him, Ha Ha!!

The rear cylinder on a Ducati seems to manage ok.
He didn’t ask if it was a good idea, he asked how to do it…

Could you put the left head on the right side and visa versa?

Yes if you can turn the cam around

That was easier to do with the old 650 Triumph twins, they had exhaust and intake cams, you just needed to put them in the correct position. But why bother unless you ride in extreme cold..... DonG

two of those bikes never ran, not sure about the other.
I miss Pete Roper.....
