Title: Slow rim leak
Post by: slowmover on April 02, 2023, 02:50:20 PM
What would cause this to develop over the winter? Tires have 10k on them.

Probably some slight corrosion on the interior of the wheel which caused the paint to bubble up.

Has that happen to my Baby Breva over the winter, too. Took it off, broke the bead on the leaking side, wiped it out and reinflated. Holding air so far.

As noted already, break the bead by the leak and check for corrosion. Also check the age of the tire because as also noted, it could be time for a new one.

Spring is a good time for a new tire anyway….
