Title: T3 California Out of Hibernation

Beautiful weather today!  I had the T3 Cali out for a ride.   I love all my Guzzi's but this one is a favorite.

Great looking bike. 

Did any other Guzzis of that era say California (or maybe LAPD) on them?  I know about later California models, but I’m nearly certain one of the local nearby derelict bikes that could not be purchased said either California or LAPD on it.  It had been in the mud in a pasture for years by the time I first saw it in 92.  It may have said California and being new to Moto Guzzi back then I assumed that meant it was an LAPD police bike.  It was with in the mud with a regular drum brake white loop and both have been gone now for years. 

Just wondering if I saw a unicorn back then without knowing it.

Edit- did some googling and found pics of an Eldorado 850GT California..  maybe that’s what I saw.
