Not enough.
-
The angle looks a little bit wrong. Needs a bit more upsweep.
-
Hopefully someone develops a cat eliminator. That'll shed 50lbs of heat holding ugly off the underside of the bike.
I can see why the Arrow exhaust is not more upswept if it were the bag would melt. THope the next aftermarket manufacturer takes a couple notes out of the Buell play book.
-
I cannot remember the name of the manufacturer (damn), but one of those square, under frame mufflers would fit in the place of the cat. The exhaust came out the side and they were (aftermarket) on some of the V11 Sports of the 2000's. They were sort of neat, but I am more a fan of traditional upswept mufflers.

The problem is that the collector box is too close to the sump.
If it was a bit lower, then the muffler would be able to have more of a “kick” upwards.
However for a bike with a touring bias, it’s not too damn bad by any means.
I bet it sounds good…

You don't need an infrared camera to see what's wrong with this picture.

I would prefer the top of the muffler be on a parallel line with the bottom of the saddle bag.

If a V100 series bikes ever makes it to my stable, the first thing to go will be the cat. Removing it from the Norge made such a huge difference in heat, performance, and sound from the stock exhaust can.
-
Oh yea. CAT on the Norge was evil!

Yes, that box underneath has to go.
Just a link pipe from the headers to the muffler with some clearance from the underside of the engine and a cleaner sweep into the can.
More along the lines of this
