Hi Folks, I am currently running #125 main jets, and #50 pilot jets in my Convert with VHB 30 carbs. I am at 4000 ft altitude, and I think I need to go down a couple of sizes on the pilot jets. The bike runs good, but you can smell that its running rich at idle, and the plugs show some richness. I never need to use the enricheners, even when cold out, to start the bike. What are some sources for purchasing some smaller sized, jets to play around with?
Thanks
Rick D.

Harpers lists them. As does MGCycle. And so does Bevelheaven...but they look like 2X cost. But they have a wider selection as well.

I just ordered some 145 mains for my PHF 36's from MG Cycle and they had a pretty decent selection for a variety of different carbs. They were $4.20 each tho and MG Cycle charges high shipping ($12 flat rate even for something small/light- but I needed several things so it wasn't too bad). They are very prickly about returns, I never order anything from them unless I know I'm willing to keep it no matter what. My bike is a bitsa, so I hope the clutch cable I got will work.
Harpers has a bunch listed, but as you prob know, that website is a nightmare and no telling if things are in/out of stock unless you call and ask.

Crusty Cycle in Minneapolis has numbers 48 and 45 shown as in stock, at $2.50.

I don’t know anything about this company except that they have obtained all the Guzzi parts that Scrambler Cycle in Wisconsin used to stock. I had good experiences with Scrambler Cycle. Maybe you can post to describe your experience with Crusty Cycle if you order from them.

You can try Hermy’s BMW and Triumph in Port Clinton,PA. The original owner has a large stash of Dellorto parts.

Hey guys, I wanted to follow up on the jets purchase from Crusty cycle. They were great. fast shipping, for less than four bucks, and I received the jets in 3 days to Arizona. At $2.50 per jet they were the cheapest I found.

Keep an eye at Harpermoto.com. We are FINALLY about a week away from a whole new site. I'm sure there will still be some snags, but much improved.

Thank You, for the "heads up" Curtis. I just thought I would mention, I have always had excellent service from you folks on the phone. Its nice to talk to a live person to verify parts availability, etc, sometimes. You guys have always been first rate, in that dept. Thank you and your staff, for your dedication to the Moto Guzzi community. :thumb:
