Anyone else still watching? Don't want to get into the politics of it, just if anyone still watching those riders race. I am. Fans Choice, streaming.
-
I see Fox sports is running replays of the Texas race today.
-
My Ruku TV wants $ for F1 Fox Sports, no. BUT I'll pay Fans Choice, it's live & reliable. Plus you can see other stuff or ReRuns.

55 years to the week that I rode my last AMA pro flat track race. Injuries ended that after 8 years. I watch the FS-1 showings of the races and get written news from Cycle News on-line the Monday after the races.
I am still addicted.

Just a quick note to flat track enthusiast. June 16-17 Square deal riders in Port Crane NY are running a vintage flat track national ! For the last few years its been a must attend event for myself & friends . If ya show up on a bike & camp they charge $10 for the weekend ! Possibly the best bang 4 the buck out there . Neat website with all the 411 I’m Not affiliated with the club or AMA Just passing it on . See ya there , look 4 the Guzzi next to the tent

I grew up Flat Track racing back in the early 60's. Back in those days we team members wore all white clothing to distinguish us in the pit areas. I no longer race, work on bikes. or help out anymore. I've always loved FTR and still go to the Nationals in my area and any local racing events. I use Fans Choice to watch all the Nationals live on my PC monitor screen. It's more of a thrill to watch in person at the tracks though. The sounds and smells add to the excitement ! The Kid :thumb:

Yep, I've been watching on fans choice, Sacto Mile Sat. RIGHT? :thumb:

Pretty kick ass track! I thinking about going to DuQuoin, haven't been there for years. Last time I did, we were ripping through the boonies of SE Mo and a rabbit ran out in front of me, it ended up on my riding buddy's lap behind me

I 1st started watching in IL, after HS my brother raced a 56 Triumph 650 at Sycomore Speedway. That bike has been restored beautifully. He went into the Navy and got all the stuff in England.
Much fun then going to all the races. My LM3 went a lap for MD at Springfield, the donation was well worth it. It's way bumpier than it looks.

My 1st was in Sedalia Mo. Once I was "hooked" I started going to The Mile & DuQuoin. DuQuoin is only 288 miles
-
I like to go to the races whenever possible. What I miss from the "old days" is that you don't smell the burning castor oil anymore. It just doesn't smell like a race.

I'm just happy to see the Indians and Jared Meese NOT winning all the time :thumb:
