Had a few days off from work and sandwiched in between storms was able to get some nice runs in this week, about 1000 miles altogether on the Griso over a few days of riding. Very enjoyable riding and lots of nice comments when stopped at various locations. Managed to pick up 4 more stops this week on the Grand Tour of Texas, in the small towns of Cuero, Blessing, Edna and Galveston. Doing the tour is a great excuse to ride and find places one wouldn't necessarily head to, but having a destination in mind makes it a lot of fun. The Griso fits like a glove, setup for touring with narrower more raked back handlebars, stiffer spring on the rear, great tires and a couple of bags, and it's an all day bike, with plenty of power on demand...smooth as silk. Even added a nice set of Formotion items - clock and thermometer on the handlebars.

I’m glad you let the Griso go outside and play!
Did you get wet?

Did you get wet?
Only a bit on Monday after a 400 miler, down into the valley, about 10-15 minutes of hard downpour/heavy lightning just before getting home...otherwise, I just planned the routes around the storms forecasts...just a few mild sprinkles otherwise.

How does touring on the Griso compare to the Norge ?

How does touring on the Griso compare to the Norge ?
With the modified handlebars and risers I’ve got it pretty close to the Norge in terms of riding posture…perhaps it’s a tad farther reach forward based on where I feel the slight tension in the back…but it’s a very enjoyable ride…I do have Knight design lowered pegs as well that helps with the leg room.
I’m really enjoying getting some Longer days on the Griso and the 8V is very sweet too above 4.5k RPM’s. Fun rides!

 you saw miles and miles of Texas

Nice post Paul.
My first taste of Texas was my recent trip to the hill country. I was impressed with the "vibe" in the small Texas towns. Friendly people, great scenery, KILLER BBQ. Shiner Bock :boozing: I'll be back!

Not sure of the question, but the answer is GRiSO.
Nice photos and I like the changes to the bike. I struggle with the lowering pegs on mine as they sit too wide. Have to twist my toe so far inboard of the knee tp actuate the brake...my bones don't comply. May go back to stock and give it a go.
Regardless...these photos make we want to be out there! Cheers!
