Can someone tell the propose of the part #27 ?

It's purpose is to hold the two shafts (assemblies 12 and 13) which the rocker arms are on.

For sure ? Today I have adjusted my valves and don't see this holding nothing in place , just that part with some screw on it fixed to bare /solid metal. But this is hitting my valve /head cover and making some knocking sound when heats up.

Here's the inside of my valves/head cover.

On the 8 valve models they have the same bit.
The valve cover is 'floating' in rubber gaskets and grommets. That keeps the valve cover grounded in case there is a spark plug arc to it.

I have a 2019 v7iii and I noticed this part while inspecting valve clearance. My initial thought ( like Wayne) was a ground path for the valve cover. If it is indeed ratling against the cover perhaps you could put a bit more bend in it.

Sorry, I was referring to part 6. I read the diagram wrong.
